Q1 What documents are required for the online Savings account opening through Video KYC?

Customer is required to have mobile linked Aadhaar Number, PAN Card, plain paper and pen during video KYC session.

Q2 After successful completion of Video KYC process, how will I receive my account details?

The account details will be shared by a SMS on registered mobile number and by an email on registered email address.

Q3 Do I need to submit any documents at branch before using the account?

No, Customers need not visit the branch for submitting any documents.

Q4 I have opened account through video KYC. How can I conduct the initial funding into my account?

All customers who open account through VKYC received a Payment link from the Bank for funding their CBI account with an initial funding of INR 2000. This link is received via Email/SMS. The funds will be credited in your account within 48 hrs of successful payment.

Q5 Instead of initial payment through online link, Can I deposit cash at Bank Branch?

Q6 I have filled up digital application, when can I conduct the Video KYC session?

You can complete Video KYC session immediately after filling digital application between 8 AM to 8 PM on bank working days.

Q7 During my Video KYC session, the call did not connect/ was not audible / got disconnected? How should I proceed?

It may happen due to weaker or unstable network. You can retry again for Video KYC session. Customers do not need to fill digital application again while attempting the V-KYC Session within 72 hrs of the application.

Q8 I have completed the digital application and attempted Video KYC session, my VKYC call is not getting connected or showing more waiting time.

You can complete Video KYC session at any time as per your convenience between 8am to 8pm on Bank Working days. If not possible immediately, You can schedule later your Video KYC Session.

Q9 What will be the home branch for accounts opened through Video KYC? Can I choose my preferred home branch?

Yes, The account will be opened at any branch as per customer�s choice. During Video KYC Session our agents will inquire and confirm branch choice to the customer.

If you have done initial funding to your account through online link sent by bank. Your ATM and Cheque book will be issued immediately and will be delivered within 15 days to your correspondence address mentioned in digital application.

Q11 Will I get any passbook for the newly opened account?

After successful account opening, You can immediately download and activate bank�s Cent m Passbook App (available on PlayStore & iStore) to have complete account and transaction updates on your fingertips. If required you can also collect Physical Passbook from your home branch
